Description
An all-position commercial tire, the 506U from Yokohama is designed for use on waste and sanitation trucks in on- and off-highway applications and features extra thick sidewalls that protect the tire from curb, pothole, and other damage. Rock shield platforms remove rocks, stones, and other debris from the tread for consistent traction and to protect the casing from damage, and the 506U’s zigzag grooves drain water from the tire to reduce the risk of hydroplaning on wet roads.
