Description
This residual pressure valve kit comes with a 2lb residual pressure valve (#17-2928) and a 7.5″ male to male brake line. All of the fittings are a metric 10×1.0mm, so it is a direct fit for the brake system for all air-cooled VWs. A residual pressure valve is a type of one way check valve that keeps a small amount of pressure in the brake lines. It can be used to help improve pedal feel and/or balance out the engagement of the front and rear brakes.
Note: VW never installed an in-line residual pressure valve. This is an aftermarket part for custom brake systems. We do not recommend this item for use on stock brake systems.
