Description
2 PSI Brake Line Residual Pressure Valves
Generally a brake fluid residual pressure valve is used to keep a minimum constant line pressure to help eliminate excessive pedaltravel and create a much firmer and responsive pedal feel. A two pound residual pressure valve is recommended for disc brakeapplications. Made from billet aluminum and are color coded and marked for easy identification and in-line mount using standard 3/16 SAE brake line fittings.
The residual valve has 1/8″ NPT threads so the SAE fittings can be unthreaded and other adapters or fittings can be used, such as 18-1102 fittings to adapt to 10×1.0mm VW Bubble Flair ends so stock VW lines can be used.
