The Mazda MX-5 NC and ND Front Tie Rod Ends (TRE) are engineered to enhance your vehicle’s performance by allowing you to adjust the tie rod end pivot in precise 1/8″ – 1/4″ increments using the included spacers. This capability is crucial for correcting bump steer that often results from modifications to caster or lower arm geometry.

By reducing bump steer, you will not only see improved lap times but also significantly enhanced stability over bumps and during fast transitions, making your vehicle’s handling more predictable. For cars that are lowered significantly, relocating the pivot point will prevent tie rod end binding, thereby protecting against damage to the inner tie rods.
