The SPL Parts Camaro/ATS FKS Series Rear Knuckle Monoball Bushings (RKB) are engineered to replace the stock elastic rubber bushings with cutting-edge low-friction articulating spherical bearings. This upgrade eliminates bushing flex and reduces both bind and friction, ensuring that your vehicle maintains optimum suspension geometry under load. The result is superior handling and feedback, achieved without a significant increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH).

In your Camaro or ATS, the standard bushings connecting the rear knuckle to the Rear Upper Camber Arm, Rear Lower Traction Arm, and Rear Upper Traction Arm are made of injected rubber metal sleeved components. These are adequate for standard driving situations but fall short when a performance vehicle is driven under high loads, such as during launches or while navigating high g-force corners. Under these conditions, the rubber can deflect, causing fluctuations in toe and camber angles at the limit. During launches, this can result in toe change, leading to wheel hop, compromised launch effectiveness, and potential axle damage. Similarly, under high cornering loads, unpredictable camber and toe changes can detract from the vehicle’s responsiveness and consistency, complicating efforts to achieve stable lap times.
