These Heavy Duty 3×3 Boxed Trailing Arms come with heavy duty bracing and improved welding compared to standard 3×3 trailing arms. The 3″ widerand 3″ longer trailing arms will require longer axles along with a number of other possible modifications. There are no provisions for shocksso shock mounts will have to be welded to the arms. Additionally, the heavy duty off road trailing arms are not compatible with all aftermarketrear disc brake kits. Some brackets will need to be clearanced and other brackets simply may not fit requiring that new caliper mounts be weldedto the trailing arm.

3×3 off road trailing arms aren’t for any stock application VW. They are used primarily in Baja Bugs, Manx and Manx style buggies, sand rails andother off road vehicles that have a VW style IRS rear suspension.
