The Fox-chassis Mustangs were not known for being super strong, which leads to vulnerabilities in the factory torque boxes. When applied with large amounts of torque, these areas are prone to cracking and ripping, leading to rearend alignment issues, poor performance, and unsafe driving conditions.

Designed from CNC-laser cut, CNC-formed steel plate, and DOM steel tubing, BMR’s Torque Box Reinforcement Braces effectively bolt into the ’79-’04 Mustang chassis. This addition reinforces the upper and lower control arm mounts, allowing for enhanced power and torque application to the wheels without risking damage to this critical area of the chassis.
