AA 92mm Piston & Cylinder Kit, for 69mm Cranks, 90.5/92 Case & 94 Heads Required supply

Description

These thick wall 92mm AA Pistons & Cylinders come as a complete set with Hypereutectic Aluminum Alloy Pistons, Cast Iron Cylinder Sleeves, wrist pins, clips and piston rings. The cylinders are made for the stock 69mm crankshaft and will fit 1300cc, 1500cc & 1600cc engines which have the case machined out for the 92mm cylinder. The thicker walls of this cylinder set will require heads machined out for 94mm cylinders. Installing the 92mm pistons and cylinders will change the displacement to 1835cc. The 92mm piston and cylinders sets will fit 1966 through 1977 Standard Beetles, 1971 through 1979 Super Beetles, 1966 through 1974 Karmann Ghias, 1963 through 1971 Type 2 Bus Models, 1962 through 1973 Type 3 models and 1973 to 1974 Things. The outer diameter of the cylinders (sleeves) is roughly 96mm at the case & 101mm at the head.

Please Note: Thick Wall Design allows for more strength and more importantly more cooling surface area than the standard 92mm Piston & Cylinder Sets.
